I Don’t Want to Tell My Kids How to be a Christian, I Want to Show Them

I don't want to suggest my children to be Christians. I want to show them.

I don't want to force them to love Jesus. I want to show them.

I don't want to tell them how to keep faith even when life breaks down and when it collapses, you don't seem to have recovered. I want to show them.

I don't want to tell them your neighbor's love. I want to show them.

I don't want to tell them how they do their prayers. I want to show them.

I do not want to tell them not to be ashamed of their faith. I want to show them.

I don't want to tell them that grace is everything. I want to show them.

I don't want to tell them that they will stumble and fail, that they will fall, that they will fail, and that they will make mistakes.

I want to show them.

Then I want to make it clear to them that despite those failures, the god of the universe is still there.

This is the same as always, it will be granted forgiveness, grace and love.
