When you breast feed your baby you’re not only giving him the best possible start you’re providing comfort and security with the closeness of breast feeding. The benefits for mother are also well known. Mom’s who breast feed will usually get their pre pregnancy figure back quicker than those who don’t. A question all breastfeeding mom’s will ask is “will my baby sleep without breast feeding” the answer is “Yes “. Some mom’s will just breast feed for a few weeks of babies life others will carry on for longer periods of time, depending on how well the breast feeding is going for both mom and baby.



The difficulty arises as you try to get baby is go to sleep while nursing a good tip is to place a pillow between you and baby to enable you to move baby from breast to crib without too much movement. If baby is falling asleep while nursing try to put your finger into baby’s mouth instead of a nipple and then put baby to sleep. A sick baby or baby on medication will be out of step in their sleep routine. Providing tender support and a sleep enhancing astrosphere will eventually help baby to sleep soundly. Babies like us adults will take time to adjust to any change in circumstances, so a little patience and perseverance will go a along way.
